North Carolina is home to 3,161 granting foundations with assets in excess of $11.1 billion dollars. 

  • Cumberland County is home to 36 foundations with assets in excess of $62.4 million dollars.
    • Fayetteville is home to 33 foundations with assets in excess of $59.9 million dollars.

While there are many gracious and supportive granting foundations throughout the state and county, PFC would like to highlight the following 10 foundations within North Carolina who have made large grants to Cumberland County organizations.

In addition, there are many deserving nonprofit and private organizations whose activities and programs provide support and assistance to all Cumberland County families.  With grant funding, nonprofits and other organizations improve the lives of families and children throughout the county.
