Literacy programs – programs that contain components such as early childhood education, adult basic skills, parenting training and parent/child together time (ex. Kenan Model, MotherRead / FatherRead) or services designed to develop cognitive & pre-literacy skills of children and families in non-childcare settings (ex. book bags, family reading opportunities, story time).
