Sponsor Evening with the Stars 2012
On February 25, 2012, Saturday this year, we will roll out the red carpet and bring Hollywood glamour and excitement to town with Fayetteville’s first Evening with the Stars Oscar Night Pre-Party at SkyView on Hay! Sponsorship of this event sends a strong message to our community about the importance of providing the resources our civilian and military families need to help their children succeed.
Economic development rests on the very important foundation of early care and education. It matters today because parents rely on quality child care to work and be productive and it matters tomorrow because today’s children are our state’s future leaders, parents, and workers. School ready young children enjoy school and are more engaged in the learning process. They perform well on end of grade proficiency tests, graduate from high school, and become productive citizens. Our future prosperity depends on children’s healthy development today.
Proceeds from Evening with the Stars 2012 benefit two of the Partnership for Children of Cumberland County’s priority projects: Partnership’s KidStuff 2012 and Government and Military Affairs.
