Committee Description
- The CCR&R Advisory Committee shall
- assist in recommending policy, budget planning, evaluating and making recommendations for the Partnership’s goals.
- have an understanding of child care resource and referral and the services of the Partnership’s department, Child Care Solutions, and be willing to speak on its behalf to the community.
Committee Meetings
The CCR&R Committee will meet on the third Tuesday of every other month from 12:00p.m. – 2:00p.m. Meetings may from time to time be cancelled or additional meetings may be called. Prior notice is always given. Please see the calendar for a list of all the meeting dates.
Role of Chair
Maintains order during a committee meeting. Conducts the meeting according to the agenda. Be the responsible person for presenting the committee’s report at the bi-monthly Board meeting.
Role of Member
- Attends a minimum of 80% of the CCR&R Committee meetings.
- Be prepared for meetings by reading materials prior to the meetings.
- RSVP prior to meeting.
- Assists in special events, such as Smart Start Day, expos, town meetings, open houses, tours, or Tuesday’s for Tots.
- It is the desire that all members contribute monetarily. Members need not give equal amounts but must make an equal commitment toward helping the organization provide services.
Role of the PFC Staff
- Ensures that proper planning is done so issues are adequately covered in the meetings;
- Prepares materials and forms;
- Solicits and compiles research and promising practices; and
- Compiles minutes that adequately reflect the committee’s findings, conclusions and recommendations.
