Dates: September 18-28, 2008 / Cumberland County Fair
Volunteer application atatched for specific shift times
Location: Expo Center
(Volunteers are needed to help parents fill out a waiver, assist children with picking out their "car" (step2 vehicle), direct them to the course, and
help them "park" their car)
ii. Operation CeaseFire Movie Night
Date: October 3, 2008, 6:45 pm - 8:45 pm
Location: Pine Forest Recreation Center
(2-3 volunteers are needed to play games with the kids prior to the free
movie showing. Game examples are helping kids shoot into a soccer goal
and bean bag tosses)
iii. Artastic!
Date: October 4, 2008
Location: Festival Park
Shift Times: 9:00 am -12:30 pm / 12:15 am - 3:45 pm
(2-3 volunteers per shift are needed to assist in the Toddler Zone of
Artastic! (a festival put on by the Fayetteville Museum of Art). Toddler
Zone activities include a soft play, foam blocks and gross motor activities
for children 0-5)
